Collaborative documentary with Creative Commons

When we worked on the documentary project we realized something very important: Jugger community is bigger than we think.

There are many more cores, teams and cities that currently know. This prompted us to ask if we really need a big budget or large investments actually favored us for create this documentary.

Thanks to the internet there are many alternatives to move (some better than others) audiovisual works, so after long investigation about what was the right way to bring the project we find a solution.

Make a collaborating documentary with Creative Commons. But what is Creative Commons?

It is a way to create an alternative way to create free copyright licenses.

Many people have noticed over time that the absolute right to copy does not help you in getting wide exposure or distribution you want. Many entrepreneurs and artists have concluded that prefer to rely on innovative business models rather than copyrighting fully entitled to make a profit on their creative investment. For others, it is a pleasure to contribute and participate in a common intellectual project. For whatever reason, it is obvious that many people in Internet want to share their work and to reuse, modify, and distribute their work with others on generous terms.

Creative Commons seeks to help people express this preference for sharing by offering everyone a set of licenses on the web at no cost.

Runtun Films is a small producer with only five members who have not only this project, we have many customers and extra work in the producer, for that reason could not embark on such a big project that we take off time for other jobs. So in this way and with your help we have found the way that to start the production.

We expect a lot of help! We need you!

Next week we will have a summary of the first day of shooting in Sweden in the hands of Alex Asensi.

See you!
